As expected, Tompkins Finest Deli opened Tuesday in the former Avenue A Mini Market space at 153 Avenue A, between 10th and 11th Streets. That’s co-owner Adeeb Ghamem (also a partner in East Village Finest Deli as well as First and First Finest Deli) putting signs up in the window. And here’s the menu, complete with the obligatory Special Sandwiches section. None of them are named after local bloggers as at Tompkins Square Bagels: You’ll have to settle for a Mr. Bean, a Chelsea Antique, or the Amtrack [sic] Express.
