Last night at Capitale, Tyra Banks presided over a “Flawsome Ball” benefiting the TZone, her leadership development center in the forthcoming new location of the Lower Eastside Girls Club.

Asked if she would give Mitt Romney binders full of TZone women should he be elected, the supermodel laughed. “I almost Tweeted about the new season of ‘Top Model’ being full of binders of men and women,” she said. The election was also on the mind of Rosario Dawson, who said she was helping the Obama campaign sign up minority voters.

Guests like Olympic gold medalist Allyson Felix, pop star Clay Aiken and actor John Leguizamo were among those who enjoyed dishes by chef Marcus Samuelsson. The dinner raised close to $1 million, according to a publicist.

The night’s headliner, Drake, was in town for the first time since he tangled with Chris Brown over pop star Rihanna at a SoHo nightclub. The rapper-singer arrived late, with heavy security, and performed five songs over the course of 20 minutes.

The TZone, modeled after Ms. Banks’s summer camps of the same name, will offer career development workshops, mentoring, and financial literacy initiatives aimed at teaching self-esteem and leadership skills to young women from the ages of eight to 18. It will be housed in the Lower Eastside Girls Club Center for Community, set to open at 101 Avenue D early next year.
