On Tuesday, The Local’s seven-week series of essays celebrating The East Village Other culminated in the opening of “Blowing Minds: The East Village Other, the Rise of Underground Comix and the Alternative Press, 1965-72,” an exhibit of EVO artifacts now on display at the Arthur L. “Blowing Minds” is on display through March 16 (Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) at N.Y.U.’s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute, 20 Cooper Square, 6th floor.
